Since its establishment in 2012, the Inter-Parliamentary Conference on the Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP) and the Common Security and Defence Policy (CSDP), brings together the representatives of national Parliaments and of the European Parliament to discuss matters related to the EU’s foreign and defence policy.
The Inter-Parliamentary Conference on CFSP/CSDP to be held during the Spanish Presidency, from October 1 to 2, 2023, in Madrid, is of particular relevance in light of the European scene marked by the war in Ukraine and the global challenges to be faced by the European Union. The participation of Mr. Borrell, the EU’s High Representative for CFSP/CSDP, is a core element of this Conference.
